Michelle Pires-Tiedemann
Owner | Clinical Director | PT, DPT
Dr. Michelle Pires-Tiedemann holds her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy with a Bachelor degree in Health Science from Touro College. Upon graduation, she quickly set out to pursue her passion as an orthopedic physical therapist, which led her to opening Current Rehab & Performance in 2011. Her focus of her treatment is geared towards patient care, individualized clinical experience and education on how to advance the profession to better the community with regards to health and wellness. After working with patients in orthopedic medicine, she felt there was a gap between a patient’s recovery and their return to their previous level of activity. After extensive research, she pushed the limits with her clinical experience to provide a fully integrated recovery and training facility for all individuals to access preventive care, clinical care, post-rehab care, as well as sports performance. Her focus is on the maintaining efficiency of the body, as well as an attention on recovery from activity – no matter the level of performance.
Outside of work, Dr. Pires-Tiedemann enjoys yoga, traveling, spending time at the beach/pool and relaxing with her husband and dogs.
Dr. Pires-Tiedemann has served as a medical volunteer, treating athletes for Ironman, CrossFit competitions, as well as other local athletic competitions. Dr. Pires-Tiedemann holds multiple certifications in the following: Functional Release, Kinesio Taping, Dry Needling, Mulligan Concept-Mobilisation with Movement (MWM), DBC Fitness Level 1, and Blood Flow Restriction Training (BFRT). She is a FRC® and KINSTRETCH Mobility Specialist (FRCms), Pose Method Running Assessment Coach and a Titleist Performance Institute – Level 1 instructor. She is also working towards her Diploma in Osteopractic Medicine. -
Danielle Restivo
PT, DPT
Dr. Danielle Restivo graduated from UMDNJ with her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. She has worked in orthopedic medicine as a physical therapist with a particular passion for adolescent athletes.
She has worked with Current Rehab & Performance since 2011, assisting Dr. Pires with the growth of the company, working with patients in the community for post-operative joint replacements, as well as orthopedic and neurological patients unable to access facilities due to physical limitations. Dr. Restivo’s compassionate demeanor has branched into working with individuals on injury and arthritis prevention. She continues to drive her research and knowledge towards adolescent injury prevention, while also maintaining and being able to provide care to all those that need it.
Outside of work, Dr. Restivo enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. She also enjoys running, working out and being active within her community.
Dr. Restivo has served as a volunteer at various athletic competitions. She is certified in Dry Needling, a FRC® Mobility Specialist (FRCms), Mulligan Concept-Mobilisation with Movement (MWM), Blood Flow Restriction Training (BFRT) and KINSTRETCH certified, as well as a certified running coach with the Pose method and ImPact Concussion specialist. She is also working towards her Diploma in Osteopractic Medicine. -
Gia Russo
PT, DPT
Dr. Gia Russo graduated from Lebanon Valley College with her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. As a former high school and college athlete, Dr. Russo knows each patient and case is different for various levels. She was drawn into the profession for her love of helping those in need. Just like the rush of hitting a game winning shot, she believes there is no greater feeling than making an impact on someone and improving their way of life through her knowledge and use of her hands. Joining the staff in 2018, Dr. Russo is an integral part of the team and brings a compassion, energy and eagerness that is solely focused on making sure you leave feeling better than when you first walked in the door.
Outside of work, Dr. Russo enjoys spending time with family or taking her golden retriever hiking or to the beach. She also loves being involved with coaching basketball or playing pick-up games when she gets the spare chance.
She has worked a variety of events, including CrossFit events, various runs and more. She is a Certified Manual Physical Therapist (CMPT) through the North American Institute of Manual Therapy (NAIOMT), a FRC® Mobility Specialist (FRCms), holds a certification in Dry Needling, Mulligan Concept-Mobilisation with Movement (MWM), and Blood Flow Restriction Training (BFRT). -
Daniel Pepitone
PT, DPT
Dr. Daniel Pepitone graduated from Sacred Heart University with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. As a physical therapist, he enjoys working with individuals to improve their movement patterns and restore function for varying levels of performance. Joining the staff in 2018, his philosophy is providing the highest quality patient care through research and evidence-based practice to generate individualized treatment plans, which cater to each patient’s individual impairments. His passion for the field is what allows him to get you better, faster.
Outside of work Dr. Pepitone enjoys a variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, skiing, and biking. He has served as a volunteer at various road races and other community events.
Dr Pepitone is certified as a FRC® Mobility Specialist (FRCms), in Blood Flow Restriction Training (BFRT), Mulligan Concept-Mobilisation with Movement (MWM), and Dry Needling. -
Courtney Saxton
PT, DPT
Dr. Courtney Saxton graduated from University of Sciences with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. With a passion for exercise, Dr. Saxton grew up training in Martial Arts, playing soccer and spending her summers running the Spring Lake 5. This active lifestyle led to a new passion – science and medicine. Seeing her father go through physical therapy after running his first marathon, Dr. Saxton saw first-hand how physical therapy could change a person both physically and emotionally. This experience created a passion to helping people achieve their goals through exercise and helping them fulfill their potential.
Outside of work, she loves to be active in nature with her husband and their dog, whether it is at the beach or on a hike in the woods. Her favorite weekend is spent watching Formula 1 with her husband!
Dr. Saxton joined Current Rehab & Performance in 2022 and is eager to create a personalized plan of care to get you feeling your best.

Shannon White
PT, DPT
Dr. Shannon White graduated from Columbia University with her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. Dr. White joined Current Rehab & Performance in 2023 and her energy within the clinic has been undeniable since her first day.
After being a physical therapy patient herself and rehabbing a fractured spine from playing soccer in high school, Dr. White knew this profession and field was for her. She enjoys being able to get her patients back to doing what they love to do – and there’s no doubt that she will get you there. Her manual skills, exercise background and overall positive outlook allows her to get the most out of her patients during their rehab journey.
Dr. White is also a EXOS Performance Specialist (XPS) and trained in Active Release Techniques (ART)
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with my family and friends, being active outdoors like hiking and backpacking, going to see live music and concerts, and playing pickleball.

Alexandra Campanale
PT, DPT
Dr. Ali Campanale holds her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Rutgers University and joined Current Rehab & Performance’s clinical staff in mid-2024. Upon joining the clinical team, Ali has brought a passion to help her patients that is second-to-none.
Dr. Campanale has always had a shared love for fitness and science and this guided her to the path of becoming a physical therapist. After a car accident led to a broken wrist years ago – that culminated in two surgeries – she realized physical therapy is an amazing opportunity to help people get back to doing what they love and enjoy.
She enjoys working with a wide variety of patients from all different backgrounds with different injuries. In doing so, she creates a relationship with the patient that promotes lifelong learning and continuous professional development. She is eager to empower her patients and give them the confidence to get back to their daily routines through individualized care.
Outside of work, Dr. Campanale enjoys working out, hiking, the beach, reading and spending time with her friends and family. -
Christopher Ordway
PT, DPT
Dr. Christopher Ordway graduated with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Touro College and also holds his Master’s of Science in Kinesiology and Applied Physiology from Rutger’s University. He joined the clinical staff in 2024 and immediately brought a positive energy to the clinic.
Pairing his love for coaching at his local CrossFit gym and his Master’s Degree, Dr. Ordway became a licensed physical therapist and has hit the ground running. Dr. Ordway loves being hands on with people and using his understanding of the human body to help them understand their pain and dysfunctions, while then pushing them to a version of themselves that they didn’t think was possible.
Viewing his patients as an athlete, he assesses the patient thoroughly to meet them where they are at and will then coach them through the rehab process. This allows the patient to gain better function, reduce their pain and a better understanding of themselves so they can continue to help themselves in the future.
Outside of work, he loves going to his CrossFit gym, beach days in the summer, snowboarding trips in the winter and lazy Sunday’s on the couch with his girlfriend and two cats.
Dr. Ordway is also a certified Weightlifting Level 1 Coach, CrossFit Level 2 Trainer certified and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA).

Nicollette Melo
LAc
Nicollette Melo joined Current Rehab & Performance in 2024 as a licensed acupuncturist. She graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelors in Science in Kinesiology and Health, while minoring in Psychology in 2017. Soon after she attended Eastern School of Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine where she received her Master’s Degree in Science of Acupuncture in 2020.
Nicollette fell in love with acupuncture after understanding its range of benefits from alleviating aches and pains to emotional distress to GI issues – you name it, Acupuncture can probably help your symptoms!
She has experience over the past decade of working directly in multidisciplinary outpatient facilities, as well as a former massage therapist. She performs Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), as well as trigger point acupuncture techniques. She adds cupping, gua sha and light massage into her sessions, as needed. These treatment styles allow for great results for her patients for their various ailments and conditions that are presenting.
Outside of work, Nicollette enjoys Lagree fitness, yoga, spending time with friends and family, live music, all food, and saying hello to any dog she can on her outdoor adventures. However, she can also be completely content relaxing on the couch with a new show to binge watch. She is always on the lookout for any restaurant recommendations, or books, as she just joined a book club! -
Holly Zimmermann

Dr. Holly Zimmermann graduated from University of Bridgeport with her clinical Doctorate degree in 2021.
Dr. Zimmermann has immediately carved out a niche in helping her patients and clients leaving their appointments feeling better. Being a former competitive gymnast, she has experienced her own sports injuries that have inspired her to develop a passion for natural healing and to bridge the gap between training and recovery. Throughout her gymnastics career, she was treated by a variety of providers and found the most relief with chiropractic care. That's when she knew this was the profession she wanted to pursue.
With experience treating all types of populations – from pediatrics to soon-to-be moms – she has found a focus in women's health, and pediatrics, as well as treating TMJ dysfunction, headaches/migraines and sciatica.
When she isn’t providing care to her patients, she loves the outdoors, playing with her dogs, and spending time with her family. She also enjoys traveling, going to the beach, trying new foods, and going to breweries.

Nikki Logan
Performance Coach | Recovery Tech
Nikki Logan, born and raised in Toms River, attended Towson University, where she played four years of division one women's soccer and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science. Nikki is a Certified Personal Trainer through NASM and joined the Current Rehab and Performance Team and immediately made an impact.
During her off time, she enjoys traveling, playing soccer and spending time at the beach.
Nikki brings her years of competitive athletic experience and training background to our team to help our patients and clients reach their health and wellness goals. -
